Sheridan Homelands is an excellent choice for families, with housing styles that cater to their needs. The streets here are quiet and lined with beautiful trees, designed specifically to limit through traffic. You can find a variety of detached and semi-detached properties in this area, including bungalows, two-storey houses, and split-level homes. For those looking to enter the neighbourhood for the first time, there are also older condo townhouse developments within the community, which can be a great opportunity. While there are some areas still undergoing growth, overall, Sheridan Homelands offers reasonable prices compared to other south Mississauga communities, providing good value for prospective homeowners.
In contrast, Sherwood Forrest is considered the more prestigious and expensive area within Sheridan. It borders Mississauga Rd, renowned for its stunning estate homes and customized luxury properties. The majority of homes in Sherwood Forrest are detached, two-storey brick houses that were built in the 1980s. Throughout the neighbourhood, you’ll also find newer rebuilds and custom homes on spacious lots. Those who choose to move to Sherwood Forrest are drawn to the prestige associated with Mississauga Rd, as well as the picturesque surroundings that accompany it.
